Why I Do What I Do
Photography has always been my way of understanding the world. I’m a 25-year-old photographer from Oisterwijk, the Netherlands, with a background in Biology, specialized in marine ecosystems, at Wageningen University. My journey began with a fascination for the connection between people and nature, and that passion led me from sea turtle conservation in Curaçao to macaw reintroduction projects in Costa Rica. Along the way, my work has been published internationally and recognized by competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year and National Geographic NL.
But what truly drives me is storytelling. Whether I’m documenting wildlife, a festival crowd, an athlete pushing their limits, or a corporate event filled with connection and energy, my goal is the same: capturing authentic moments that speak for themselves.
What you’ll find on this website is the journey from enthusiastic hobbyist to full-time professional. The Portfolio section shows where it all began: early travel and outdoor images that shaped my eye for storytelling, composition, and authenticity.
Alongside my work in nature and conservation, I also specialize in event photography. Under the Events tab, you’ll find the services I offer for festivals, corporate gatherings, concerts, and sports events. I approach these assignments with the same documentary mindset that defines my nature work: capturing real moments, atmosphere, and energy with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Whether it’s an environmental project or a dynamic live event, my goal is always the same: to tell a compelling visual story.
I’d love to help bring your project to life! feel free to get in touch!
