Why I Do What I Do

I'm a photographer, videographer and biologist based in the Netherlands. Wageningen University taught me how ecosystems work; photography is how I get other people to care about them.

That combination has taken me from mangrove research in Curaçao to a wildlife rescue centre in the Peruvian Amazon and two months at sea with Sea Shepherd. It's also what I bring to a festival floor, a boxing ring or a corporate room: read the situation, wait, and catch the moment that's actually true.
